About me
I'm a Mexican cinematographer drawn to storytelling working both on land and underwater. I studied Film and TV at Centro, and later continued my studies at EICTV in Cuba and the Collective of Narrative Practices. I'm member of Apertura, a Mexican community of female cinematographers. Freediver and rescue scuba diver, underwater camera operator, passionate about analog photography, nature, traveling, and riding around with my bike.
During the last years, I've been working in narrative films (shorts, tv series and my first two features), documentaries, music videos, underwater projects and commercials. My work includes the docuseries Draw for Change (Canneseries winner), Jardín (short film, FICM), Bandidos (underwater DP, tv series, Netflix), I Want to Violently Crash Into the Windshield of Love (short film, Tribeca), Celestino (feature film) and the Netflix tv series Los Reyes de Oriente and Las Muertas (second unit DP). Right now I’ve just shot Chicas Tristes, feature film directed by Fernanda Tovar and produced by Colectivo Colmena.
